From Delta: The Delta 20" Band Saw is an affordable, yet durable wood-cutting machine for use in professional woodworking and furniture shops as well as pattern fabrication and structural manufacturing plants.
The saw is driven by a 2HP single-phase motor that provides the power needed to cut through a variety of woods up to a maximum of 19" wide and 11" thick. And when it comes to supporting stock this size,
this saw is ready with an accommodating 201/2"x 267/8" solid cast iron table with T-slot table and trunnion assembly in addition to a heavy gage steel cabinet for support accuracy.
A Built-in foot brake is also on hand to ensure a safer, more productive shop environment in between cutting operations. |

Features
Upper and lower wheel covers are hinged for fast blade changes; easier access to band saw wheels. Cast iron wheels are precision balanced and feature replaceable urethane tires for better tracking, smoother operation and longer life.
Built-in dust chute directs sawdust down away from lower wheel, facilitates hook-up to dust collection system.
Heavy gage steel cabinet for support accuracy; can be secured to floor for added stability.
Extra large 201/2"x 267/8" cast iron table with T-Slot provides ample support for large work. Table tilts 45° fright for bevel cutting. Adjustable positive stop assures accurate resetting to level position. Stop can be removed for 15° left tilt.
Sturdy cast iron rip fence with solid steel guide rail included as standard equipment. Precision ground on both sides, fence can be positioned anywhere from 151/2" left of blade to 7" right for ripping and resawing operations.
Handy blade tensioning control facilitates accurate tension adjustment. Direct-reading scale enables operator to select the exact tension for various blade widths from 3/16" to 1".
Built-in blade and tire cleaning brush on lower wheel provides continuous cleaning action to prevent chip build-up. Lengthens blade and tire life.
Fully adjustable upper and lower blade guides and blade support bearings to maintain proper blade alignment, improve performance and extend blade life. Guides and support bearings adjust independently of each other with micrometer accuracy. Integral oil detents facilitate periodic lubrication to insure trouble-free performance.
Solid under-table construction with cast iron trunnion assemble provides sturdy support for heavy work loads.
Convenient foot operated blade brake stops blade in seconds after the stop button is actuated. Minimizes blade coasting; increases production cutting time. |
