POLISHING PADS |
 |
There are a few things to consider about polishing. The first application of cleaner, polish or
compound is done with a foam compound pad (49-36-1550). A wool compound pad (49-36-1500) can be
used to remove the cleaner or polish. In most cases you will have to remove most of the polish
by hand and then just finish the job to get a swirl free finish with the wool pad.

If your job calls for waxing, it is applied with a foam finish pad (49-36-0650). As with polish
or compound, a wool finish pad (49-36-2150) can be used to remove the wax. In almost ALL cases
you will need to remove most of the wax by hand before using the wool pad. Wax will collect quickly
on the wool pad and you will spend more time cleaning the pad then actually finishing the job.
